The point of difference between me and any other candidate is I have a solution for Toowoomba's water supply.

Your Vote for me Rob Berry will secure a sustainable water resource for our regions future that is currently wasted.

This valuable resource can be used for our needs for recreational, residential and commercial use.

This water will create jobs and restore business confidence across the entire region.

While completely resolving the need to drink water sourced from the sewer which carried with it high, unknown and unacceptable health risks.

I will ensure that this water solution is put into practice by clearly demonstrating my leadership and problem solving skills and you can be damn sure I won't back down.

By capturing and using storm water the following benefits are clear.

It will negate having to pump contaminated water from Wivenhoe dam up a mountain at enormous costs of energy and expense to ratepayers.

It will reduce our carbon footprint and be environmentally friendly by No extra carbon emissions.

It will provide water security for the entire region.

It will encourage and stimulate business business and economic growth.

It will give respite to our family's and the elderly from bucketing water which are resulting in injuries.

It will restore our water supplies and ensure that will we never again let such a valuable resource be lost because they failed to plan.

It will provide us with additional water that does not have to be pumped from bores which are depleting our reserve water supply but in fact storm water can be added to our underground aquifers to ensure we drought proof our region for a 5 - 10year period in other words it is an insurance against drought.

By placing storm water into Cooby Dam will ensure that our water costs will remain affordable to residents and this will stop the introduction of the (WST) a new water supply tax on ratepayers.

Oh and just a point of fact THIS November has had the highest level of rainfall in 28 years.

• Formally from the small town of Yelarbon near Goondiwindi where I spent some 12 years. I have extensive farming background of 20 years.
  
• Raised as an adopted child at Moree NSW.
  
• Resident of Toowoomba 28 years, married. My wife Ruth is a registered nurse. We have 3 children Michael 8 years, Katelyn 12 years & Jason 14 years of age.
  With first hand knowledge of the family struggle to raise and educate children in today’s economic financial climate.
  
• Schooling New South Wales.
  
• A Masonic Mason for 23 years.
• A justice of the peace qualified some 30 years with bench duties experience.
• A member of Queensland Justices Association 30 years.
• Experience in State & Local government in licensing and data base development.
• Accredited in database design & computer programming.
• An Army reservist of 22 years fully held the positions of RSO Regimental Signals Officer and IO Intelligence Officer fully trained in operational photography.
